On the morning of February 27, 1896, Lake's Drug Store was burnt and Hampton Lodge No. 204 lost everything. The Lodge then moved back to Allen's Hall. When Lake's Drug Store was rebuilt, Hampton Lodge No. 204 moved back upstairs.

Fifth Location
In 1903, Hampton Lodge No. 204, A.F.M. purchased an empty lot on the North-East corner of Evans Street and Irby Street. The brothers did nothing with the property until 1906. Then the brothers incorporated the Lodge and sold bonds for $35,000 to build their first lodge building. The building was finished in 1907 and Hampton Lodge No. 204 moved in on March 22, 1907. Hampton Lodge No. 204 met on the third floor facing the court house. This was the first location they did not rent from Harmony Lodge No. 8, Knights of Pythias. However, in 1915, the brothers sold the building and rented until 1932.

Current Location
Hampton Lodge No. 204, A.F.M. then built their second Lodge building in 1932. This is the present building located at the corner of Cheves Street and McQueen Street. It has and will be our home for many years to come.
